Amadou Dieng is the Policy & Advocacy Manager at Colorado Succeeds, where he supports the organization’s policy and advocacy, membership, and philanthropy initiatives. He is passionate about storytelling, uplifting diverse perspectives leading to better understanding and more efficient and equitable resources and opportunities.
Prior to Colorado Succeeds, Amadou served as a Media Strategist for the African Leadership Group supporting adult and youth leadership development, community development, and workforce development.
Community Involvement
An immigrant himself, Amadou is passionate about immigration, education, and youth development issues. He serves on the African Leadership Group’s Youth Empowerment Committee, where he’s facilitated a youth development program for the last five years. Amadou loves supporting community organizations and can be found volunteering at community events around Denver.
Why Amadou Loves Colorado
A native of Senegal, Amadou has grown to love Colorado – outside of winter – and enjoys its running and hiking trails. He also takes full advantage of the growing soccer community and is a disappointed Colorado Rapids fan these days.
