Colorado Educators Eligible for $30,000 in Cash Prizes

The Succeeds Prize, Colorado’s most prestigious awards and recognition event honoring public schools and educators, is seeking applications for two statewide awards that seek to support Colorado public schools and teachers in bringing their best ideas forward. The winners of each award will receive $15,000.

All Colorado public school teachers, groups of teachers, schools, and districts are eligible and welcomed to apply. Applications are due Aug. 31, 2018.

The awards are presented by Janus Henderson Investors and Arrow Electronics, in partnership with Colorado Succeeds, mindSpark Learning, and 9NEWS. The winners will be announced at a live reveal celebration on Sept. 18, 2018 at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. In addition to receiving the $15,000 cash prize, the winners will also work with Colorado Succeeds, 9NEWS, and mindSpark Learning to share the story of their success statewide.

The Succeeds Prize is also offering four additional $15,000 awards in the following categories:

  • Transformational Impact in an Elementary School – presented by TTEC
  • Transformational Impact in a Middle School – presented by DaVita
  • Transformational Impact in a High School – presented by Western Union Foundation
  • Excellence in STEM Education Award – presented by Ball Corp.
