Through year-round philanthropic efforts, we invest in and scale what’s working in education in Colorado.
A collaborative effort between Colorado Succeeds, 9NEWS, and the business community, The Succeeds Prize is the most prestigious awards and recognition event for Colorado’s public schools and educators. Winners are awarded a cash prize to support their programs, followed by a year-long effort to amplify their learnings through storytelling and convenings aimed at scaling their successful innovations and practices across Colorado.
Education Innovation Fund
In 2020, the Colorado Succeeds joined the Gates Family Foundation, Lyra Colorado, Daniels Fund, Donnell-Kay Foundation, Empower Schools, ReSchool Colorado, and RootED Denver to launch the COVID-19 Education Innovation Fund promoting resilient education systems that meet the needs of learners. 34 projects across Colorado received a total of $335,000 in funding, and we are now amplifying their innovations through storytelling campaigns and connecting grantees to additional resources.
