ActivateWork Manager of Career Development
Michael Savage is the Manager of Career Development and Professional Development Instructor for ActivateWork.
He has been at this position for 14 months, and in that time, he has taught over 125 students. The students learn key components of professionalism to help them secure a career after their IT boot camps. These components vary from, resume and interview skills to emotional intelligence and workplace dynamics.
What led Michael to ActivateWork was their mission to work with underrepresented people in our community to learn both solid IT and life skills, so they can succeed in a career that will begin to build their financial security. Seeing this transformation firsthand has been one of the greatest joys of his professional career.
