Khalid is originally from Eritrea. Before attending ActivateWork, he was pursuing an associate degree in cybersecurity from a community college, but he wanted more hands-on learning and to get certifications more quickly to start his career. He enrolled in ActivateWork’s Security Fundamentals Class in 2022. He landed a job after graduation with Atom Creek and is thriving in his new career.
