Diane serves as Communications Manager for Colorado Succeeds. Diane brings over 6 years of experience in nonprofit management in the areas of marketing and communications, fund development, and operations. Diane comes to Colorado Succeeds from Butterfly Pavilion where she developed and implemented marketing campaigns and large-scale events to drive revenue, brand awareness and inspire audiences to take action for habitat and species conservation. Diane began her career supporting fundraising, administration, and community development at Colorado-based nonprofits like Center for Legal Inclusiveness, African Community Center, Children’s Future International, and the Marshall Direct Fund.
Diane holds undergraduate degrees in International Studies and French from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. She also earned a Master of Arts in International Studies from the Josef Korbel School at the University of Denver, where she contributed to research focused on the efficacy of resistance movements around the world. Diane is also a graduate of the University of Colorado Denver School of Public Affairs, where she earned a Master’s in Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofits. Her final capstone project, which focused on improving energy assistance access in rural communities in Colorado, was one of the few selected for publication in the University’s digital repository. Diane lives in Denver with her cat, Paris, whom she rescued from the Denver Animal Shelter in 2019.
